New Year, New Plan

Welcome to 2020. My personal word of the year is FORWARD.

For accountability, I’ve decided that my first blog post is to publish my list of “20” Goals for 2020.

  • Publish 20 blog posts {1 down, 19 to go}
  • Read This List of 20 books {good mix of re-reads, new-to-mes, & how-did-I-miss-these?}
  • Increase my income by $20k+ {if you know if any sql side-gigs, please let me know}
  • Make 20 family dinners {I don’t cook, so this is a bigger deal than it may seem}
  • Make 20 new, meaningful connections {I’m not sure how I’m going to qualify or track this, but I think I can reach this goal via conference / meet-up attendance and social media}
  • Drink 64 oz of H2O, 20+ days each month
  • Spend a dedicated 20+ hours per month on side project work or personal training {January’s project: Azure}

I feel like 20 is a pretty doable number for these goals because for most of them, it means two per month, with four “freebies.”
